Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdepim

Ubuntu Lynx, upgraded from Karmic and previously Jaunty.

While working with no network connection, i stored several to-be-sent mails in the 'draft' folder.

For the last one i clicked on 'send later' then kmail hanged

After killing and restarting it, one mail in the draft folder was empty : still here but all fields erased (subject, sender, text, attachments...)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect 648015 and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Thanks for answering :-)

I cannot test again, as i switched away from ubuntu due to other long lasting bugs with trashing data unfixed (for example usb-creator, or undocumented fstab options...)

Debian is rock solid guys, there is something wrong on Ubuntu.
Cheers.
