Bug Description

Using either latest 10.10 beta image, or stable 10.04.1 cd image, screen colors are completely messed up on my SONY VAIO VPC Z12 C5E (Core i5 mobile)

Moving to -intel. That's the GPU that Xorg.0.log says driving your display.

Does this colour corruption still occur when you disable Compiz? Running “metacity --replace” in a terminal should quit Compiz.

@Chris Halse Rogers : metacity --replace did not help.
Strange colors happen also on console (CTRL ALT F1 ...) and on second boot splash (the one with the 5 dots and the Ubuntu text).

I have to mention that the first boot splash (the one with the two icons at the bottom of the screen) is correctly displayed.
