Bug Description

I have changed to gwibber as the twitter client I was using has yet to be updated for OAuth. I have added my twitter account to gwibber (I don't have any other social media accounts) and it looks like everything is operating fine. Unfortunately, new tweets that I can see via my twitter page are not showing up in gwibber. What else can I do troubleshoot this issue? I am using version 2.31.4 on Fedora 13.

If I start gwibber from the command line I get the following error:

[perriek@sauron ~]$ gwibber
ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on com.Gwibber.Accounts:/com/gwibber/Accounts: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name com.Gwibber.Accounts was not provided by any .service files
ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on com.Gwibber.Streams:/com/gwibber/Streams: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name com.Gwibber.Streams was not provided by any .service files
ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on com.Gwibber.Searches:/com/gwibber/Searches: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name com.Gwibber.Searches was not provided by any .service files
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/gwibber/gwui.py:719: GtkWarning: gtk_range_set_range: assertion `min < max' failed
  self.scrollbar.set_range(0, len(self.messages) - 1)

Thanks.

Kent, please update to the latest version of Gwibber (2.31.95 or from trunk). If the issue is reproducible, please change Status to New and attach gwibber.log from ~/.cache/gwibber/gwibber.log

I updated to the latest version in the Fedora repo, 2.31.93.

I did pop up to auth the app to Twitter, but I still don't see any tweets. I still get the error messages in the console:

perriek@sauron ~]$ gwibber

And in the theme of doing the same thing and getting a different result, I got a second popup to authorize with Twitter, and this time it appears to have worked and I can see my tweets now.

There's no 2.31.95 rpm, but 2.33 seems to work for me. I get a new oauth panel. Seems like the first pass at oauth was b0rked.

sudo yum -y install python-kitchen
sudo rpm -Uhv http://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/gwibber/2.33.0/7.867bzr.fc13/noarch/gwibber-2.33.0-7.867bzr.fc13.noarch.rpm

I have the exact same symptom with Gwibber 2.33.0 on Ubuntu 10.04. Gwibber starts up fine, updates for a while then stops updating from Twitter. Once it gets into this state, exiting and restarting Gwibber does not restore updating.
