Have a Launchpad ID, can't login, so can't D/L anything at all, after having managed once, not just to D/L but also to upload the good subs... Why is it impossible to login with a valid Launchpad ID? It looks ridiculous, I must say honestly...

Thanx for the effort and good will! It's a rare thing, indeed and so we need to acknowledge it and appreciate it fully!!!
However... I must be honest here and state things as they really are, with no embellishments, I'm afraid, in the hope that it will make a difference, so this cool idea/app will get as good as it ought to be...
I have a Launchpad ID, I am on Ubuntu forums with it etc.
I can't login to OpenSubDownloader for love or money, so now I can't D/L anything at all, after having managed once, not just to D/L but also to upload the good quality subs back...
Why is it impossible to login with a valid Launchpad ID? It looks ridiculous, I must say honestly...
This is a great idea but it needs doing properly, guys...

Hi Goran,
it seems to me that you are mixing 2 things.
1. Launchpad ID is not needed at all to use OpenSubDownloader. You just download it from download section.
2. On the other hand you need to be registered at opensubtitles.org to upload subs. These credentials should be entered to OpenSubDownloader, not Launchpad ID.
