Clicking on new Terminal doesn't raise its window

1) Start with no Terminal open, but some other window open (say, Firefox)
2) Click on the Terminal launcher

A Terminal will open, but it will be behind the Firefox window. Usually the hidden Terminal window asks for attention, sometimes it doesn't.

that happens in some cases, right.

i am also having occasional issues where i can't raise a window by clicking it. currently i have 1 firefox window that is floating over everything.

sometimes open a new program will let me break out and windows will raise normally for a while

i have also had a nautilus window stuck on top of the login box after locking the screen

It is not clear in this bug if the problem is the same and which procedure one can use to reproduce the issue.
Can you give us a test case?

I don't believe I've had this problem (my original problem) since the compiz switchover. I'll close this bug out.
