Cannot update a User in the web client

Bug Description
When editing a user via the web client, the changes are not saved.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Find a User
2. Click Edit to go to edit mode and change something e.g. the signature.
3. Click Save
Expected result:
The change should be saved
Actual result:
The change is lost and the User record remains the same.
