Anjuta hangs on startup before splash if named pipe has not been removed due to a prior crash.

When Anjuta crashes due to loss of the X-server, it leaves behind a named pipe and other files in /tmp. If these files still exist when Anjuta is restarted, it will hang indefinitely, before displaying the splash screen.
