Installer hangs if installation of grub fails

As of the sep 20th daily maverick build, the installer now hangs if grub-install fails. It worked fine just the other day. Now you get the pop up box saying it failed and asking you if you want to install to another device, continue without installing, or abort the installation, but the box does not respond when you click OK, so you are stuck; unable to select the correct device, or even choose to continue without installing grub.

Thanks for your report. Is it sitll an issue with the final release of maverick ?

Sorry for the delay, yes, it is still an issue with the final maverick. To reproduce this, I took a second disk and created a partition starting on sector 1 instead of 63 or 2048. I then installed to a root fs on the first disk but told the installer to install grub on the second disk, which predictably failed, causing the broken dialog box to appear.
