Bug Description

Click on any jpg, png image, drag to Couturier, release the mouse. The image is not added to the list of documents to merge. If I click on the "+" sign icon below the list, browse to the same folder location, and select from the "Document Chooser" window the image, this one is added to the list of documents to merge.

Is the same if the list is empty or not.

This does not happens with PDF files, they are added normally with drag and drop

Ubuntu 10.04, amd64
Version Installed 0.5-1

Thank you for the bug report.

I cannot reproduce this bug. Do you observe this issue with ANY image file? I have tested several jpg and png files but it works just fine for me.
Just to be sure; you do release the mouse, when you are above the document list, right? The document list is the drop area, not the whole window. But I guess so, since you can add PDF files :)

Can you attach a sample of the image to this bug report.

Thank you for the follow up Babis, I have attached a ovg movie from record my desktop on linux, I just made the example with images, to keep the file short. PDFs are working.

I don't know if your are developing in linux to see this format.

If you can drag and drop, and I can't must probably there is a missing library that did not get installed from the debian package.

What information would you need in this case?
If I run the application from a terminal to see if there are any errors, none come up in the terminal.

I decided to upload a second video with complete example adding pdfs and images, I feel a little bit helpless because I don't have any more information I can give to you, I know is difficult to solve a problem that can not be reproduced. If you need any steps for me to follow to gather information, please ask.

First of all, thank you for your efforts.

Haaaaa, the video was helpful, there is an issue that I was not aware of.

Your image files are located in a place with "strange" characters in the path name :)

the "strange" word is Imágenes :D, which i guess, it means Images in spanish.

sorry for that.

as a workarround you can just drag&drop images/pdfs from other directories, but not from Imágenes.

Fix will be available soon.
