Dash search shows more icons, once the search has failed

Bug Description

Unity: 0.2.40-0ubuntu1

Steps to reproduce:

I was trying to search "update manager"

1. When searching by "update-" only Gwibber and Update Manager appear (why does Gwibber appears, anyway?)
2. Add a "-" to the search. Now we are searching "update--". Same results
3. Delete the just added "-". (search again "update-"). Instead of appear the same, a lot of unrelated applications appear.

Thanks for the bug report - it appears to be an issue I thought I had already fixed - but apparently not :-)

@njpatel: It would - but I don't think it's that hard to fix "the right way". I am 95% sure it's the same as the Banshee thing...
