Bug Description

Binary package hint: daemon

Found in 0.6.4-1 (built on 9.10 from Maverick sources). How to reproduce:

ssh ... daemon -- sleep 10

ssh should exit immediately, but it doesn't. On remote host, daemon's PPID is not 1.

I guess that libslack's logic falsely detects that daemon was executed by inetd and thus does not double-fork.

This is similar, but not the same as, debbug 404371 -- http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=404371
