Bug Description

I'm trying to install Ubuntu 10.4.1 server amd64 as domU on a debian lenny as hvm.
Size of memory is 1024MB, the disk size is 200GB provided by a lvm-lv

The installation crashes randomly on any step with the same reason (unknown reason)
virt console 4: base-installer: error: exiting on error base-installer/kernel/failed-install

Yesterday I had the same problem on the same host, but after retrying the failed steps over and over again finally the install succeeded. the resulting vm runs stable without issues.
Today i tried to setup up a new vm but i cant finish the installation.

I don't know how to make a more detailed bugreport, any hints are welcome.

Ok the Server is not running stable after installation either.
Any Software reacts strange and crashes randomly or gives incorrect results.

It seems to be a kernel/xen issue.
I dont expect it to be a hardware issue, all other vms (debian lenny and old ubuntu, no hvm) run stable.
And i also checked cpu, memory and disk one year and also one month ago with cpuburn, memorytest...

I switched now to debian lenny and backports. but i would like to see this fixed. just give me a hint and i make another try.
