Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
I installed kubuntu-desktop ontop of an ubuntu 10.10 amd64 install and have tried to configure the dual screen setup via both the xrandr command-line utility and the Display KCM in System Settings and both exhibit the same issue. This setup works fine under GNOME. My setup consists of an ATi Radeon HD 2400 XT (RV610) video card with two Dell 2007FPb displays. I have one in the normal position and the other in a left rotated position. I have attached a screen shot showing the problem with the Display KCM open. I'll also attach my .xsession-errors file, just ignore any akonadi or nepomuck failures as I am using a NIS user with an automounted NFS home directory.
The screen shot shows plasma on the normal rotated desktop shifted to the left leaving a white space between the screens where you cannot interact with the desktop via the right-click interface.
