Actually, am a newbie in Ubuntu management. I use the Ubuntu Package Manager, and in this instance, I wanted to install a forum management software, phpbb, and php-nuke for portal development. I believe that these could be possibly installed, but I lack skills in Using Console. I want to carry my freedom everywhere, like I have done with Texmaker and TexLive for LaTex and recently with GeoGebra. Any idea of how the pending installation can be concluded? The problem occurs when I get a prompt to install the database server, I select MySQL which, by the way, is already installed.
