Bug Description
Binary package hint: aptdaemon
The status messages during package update do not show up translated. I don't know where are these actually coming from (perhaps even from apt or dpkg?), so filing it here.

Those strings are created by the aptdaemon. The problem is that aptdaemon doesn't switch the language (since it can theoretically used by several user with different languages.
In the trunk branch each transaction has got its own gettext translation according to its language. But I am not happy about how I access this translation instance. So expect the fix to land in Natty.
