Binary package hint: nautilus

Hi,

Nautilus crashes when refreshing the root directory

Steps to reproduce:

Open a new browser
Click on the Computer icon
Open 'Filesystem'
Refresh, *it crashes*

it happens every first time i enter "/". after i navigate to any lower path, then go back to "/", it doesn't crash any more

what do you mean by "after i navigate to any lower path"? is that after the crash? what path by example? what nautilus sidebar do you use?

ok, i'll describe it more clearly.
From any point, i begin to browse("Home Folder" or "Computer"...), if i go to "/" folder("Filesystem") for the first time, then by pressing F5, it crashes.
if at that time, i didn't refresh the root folder, just go on browsing, that means go to any subfolder, when i return to "/"(by clicking "up" arrow), now by pressing F5, i doesn't crash any more.
it crashes only when i go to root folder for the first time.

That upload fixes the bug:

 nautilus (2.16.2-0ubuntu1) feisty; urgency=low

since one of the latest updates, nautilus crashes when refreshing the root directory

steps to reproduce:
- open nautils
- klick on "filesystem" (Dateisystem - Ubunut Hardy German)
- nautilus chrashes

same when type / in the "location" (Ort) line.

gnome version: 2.21.91

Ubuntu Edgy Eft is no longer supported, so a SRU will not be issued for this release. Marking Edgy as Won't Fix.
