Bug Description

Binary package hint: rosegarden

Any app connected to the soundcard through JACK works normally until I open Rosegarden.
When Rosegarden is started, no sound can be heard from Rosegarden or other JACK apps, even if they look correctly connected to the soundcard.
To make JACK apps work again, one must close Rosegarden, stop JACK and restart it.

Rosegarden sounds correctly (i tested it with an audio file) only after JACK is stopped while Rosegarden is running, but this works only sometimes and just for a while.

I can't reproduce this in the latest version of Rosegarden. I tried with and without "Start JACK automatically".

It's very likely this was fixed around the time the "Start JACK automatically" preference was added.

It's likely that this bug can be closed.
