Description of the crash:
When i convert an email message with attachment to a Task, Evolution use
100% of CPU to open this Task

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Receive an email message with an attachment
2. Convert this message to a Task
3. Go to Taks perspective of Evolution
4. Double-click in this task, or a simple click (to see in the quick
view panel)
5. Evolution will start to use 100% of CPU of the machine, for a Long
time
6. Evolution open the Task, or show in the quick view

Expected Results:
1. Evolution opens the task, or show in the quick view, instantaneously,
without to use 100% of CPU

How often does this happen?
Every time that this procedure is did.

Additional Information:
My enviroment is:
Notebook Dell Latitude D800
Centrino 2.0 GHz
1GB of RAM
Ubuntu 5.10
Kernel 2.6.12.10-386

Thanks for your bug report. Could it be, that your bug report is describing the same issue as http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315752 ?
If so (and you have the most recent Breezy version of evolution), the fix landed in Dapper and we won't get it in for Breezy. If it's another issue, we should forward it to the upstream developers.

I am experiencing the same problem with dapper and evo2.6, so I don't think can have been fixed.

Seems to be reported upstream in more than one place, I found it here:
