jpilot in edgy does complete backup on hotsync

Binary package hint: jpilot

Previously when I clicked on the hotsync button in jpilot, it would sync only the PIMs. There is another button to do the hotsync followed by backup of all files.

I now have these installed. I don't think I ever had jpilot-backup and jpilot-syncmal installed; so maybe that is the difference. I don't think it should make a difference since the two buttons are clearly stating that they do different things.

I removed jpilot-backup and jpilot-syncmal and now the hotsync performs the sync only on the PIMs as expected.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Hi. I now have Feisty. I reinstalled jpilot-backup. jpilot-syncmal appears to be no longer used. When I ran the Hotsync, I got the complete Backup as before. I did it three times and created 3 Archive directories.

I am not willing to try Gutsy at this time. Upgrades have been ordeals in the past and I'm quite happy with Feisty.

Thanks for fixing it. When I finally upgrade, I'll try again.
