Bug Description
This happened on updated Xubuntu Dapper 6.06. When I selected shut down, I got black screen and mouse cursor on it, the cursor would not move. Even hitting <Alt><SysRq>s <Alt><SysRq>u <Alt><SysRq>b would not boot. Could it have something to do with graphics driver mga? I had to press the power button to shut down. After turning on again, I could shut down normally.

Command
lspci | grep 'VGA compatible controller:'
outputs
0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. G400/G450 (rev 82)
I am using XFS file system (except for linux-swap and boot partitions).
The chrash does not happen every time, but I think it is more likely to happen when PC is on long time, before I select to shut down. It is almost like it used to be with Microsoft Windows 98SE :(
(I am still using 6.06. I have read somewhere that support for Matrox cards would be worse in 6.10.)
