Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-manager
a left click on the nm icon will show wifi networks in alphabetical order. I think that could be improved. I'd like to suggest to reorder this to
1) networks the user has successfully (!) connected to in the past
2) open networks (no WEP/WAP)
3) protected networks

Hi,
On the other hand, sorting networks this way will leave room for suggestions similar to: current sorting doesn't list networks in signal strength order, or "please sort in alphabetical order". This does however seem like a good compromise to improve usability.
The best course of action would be to bring this up on the upstream bug tracker (as you've done), as well as on the NetworkManager mailing list. Until then, I'll close this bug as Opinion as this really should be implemented upstream on the applet.
