I have the same laptop model, which is Ubuntu certified. What is not working - I assume the sound playback?

Can you tell me what happens when you do this:

- Shut down your computer
- Remove the power supply
- Remove the battery
- Put back the battery
- Plug in the power supply
- Turn on the computer and log into your account
- Press the Volume Up button (F9)
- Open the file "/usr/share/example-content/Ubuntu_Free_Culture_Showcase/How fast.ogg"
