The redshift PPA doesn't contain packages for Maverick yet:
<https://launchpad.net/~jonls/+archive/redshift-ppa/+packages>,
and I think Launchpad won't accept maverick packages until the official release date, or nearer to the time.

Until then, change the PPA details back to 'lucid' if you are really desperate for software updates! Just remember to change them back afterwards.

Sure the fix is obvious. But as i understood this sources are installed by default, arent they?

I don't think redshift is installed by default, since it would then be in the official repo. PPAs aren't installed automatically, I don't think.

No those PPAs are not installed by default. You might have used the redshift repos before upgrading to maverick. When you upgrades your computer to a new version it browses all your subribed PPAS and replace the ubuntu version name. In this case it moves your PPAS form Jaunty to Maverick.

To me this is not a bug, I ll change the bug status to invalid.
