Problem: Touchpad appears as ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse

Problem existed since clean install of Lucid on new laptop.

cat /proc/bus/input/devices >devices.log
and attach the 'devices.log' file, from your home dir. to the bug report. This will greatly help us in tracking down your problem.

Just installed maverick. The problem is fixed in ubuntu 10.10.

The bug seems to be fixed by itself, in a latest kernel. So I'm closing the bug, if however you encounter the bug again and want to reopen the bug, you can do so any time, by setting the status as New again.
