When you say audio won't work? What exactly do you mean? You said you tried Amarok which doesn't work. What else have you tried, audio playback wise?

You could try updating your alsa drivers, as outlined here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/InstallingLinuxAlsaDriverModules. If that doesn't help, could you please obtain a log from pulseaudio, as outlined here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log, and attach it to this bug?

thanks,i fixed it a few days ago. . .i found something usefull on the forums,tiped some lines in the terminal and eureca (i dont really remember what i did but somehow i fixed it) Thanks again
