Bug Description

Binary package hint: indicator-sound

I noticed that in the Maverick beta rhythmbox was included in the sound control icon (wich is great).
So i disabled the rhythmbox status icon, and closed rhythmbox assuming that iot would (as normally) minimize to the new status icon.
That didn't happen...
Rhythmbox just closed while still playing, and i got a message a few seconds later saying "indicator-sound-service closed unexpectedly", when I opened the menu of the sound control icon, i noticed that it said there rhythmbox was still playing (cause the control were still shown), but the content of the menu looks as following now:
* Mute
* Sound control slider
* Seperator
* Rhythmbox
* The Rhythmbox controls
* Sound preferences
* Sound control slider (again)
* Rhythmbox (again, without the control beneath it this time)
The sound control icon still does it's job however, but the icon looks as if i muted the sound, wich i didn't, even the rhythmbox controls still work.

Hi,
Can you confirm that you still can reproduce this with the latest release.

Thx,

Sounds like the service crashed at some point and the indicator while populating again had some bugs which are fixed in 0.4.5. Without much more info I can't retrace the service crash. There are fixes for any dbus mpris service problems in 0.4.5.
