Bug Description

When I try to access another machines using samba, through nautilus, the process gvfsd-smb-browse uses all cpu and doesn't access the machine.

Follow the process "ps aux" output:

tiago 1987 59.2 0.7 24620 3564 ? Rl 08:10 0:13 /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-smb-browse --spawner :1.11 /org/gtk/gvfs/exec_spaw/2

I found the same happens for me, I have an atom netbook and it uses around 100% all time and doesn't go down after you stop nautilus from trying to load the shares. You have to manually stop it. I'm running the 64bit Ubuntu 10.10 beta.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about it at http://www.ubuntu.com/download . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
