Bugs subscriptions should provide more control over level of subscription

This is rather a feature request.

It would be quite useful if there were additional settings at project bugs subscription (https://bugs.launchpad.net/{project_name}/+subscribe), in particular which type of change triggers email notification. Say, when release team changes a bunch of bugs status to Fix->Released, it is a bit irritating getting hundreds of emails of this type.

It gives me great joy to write that this is already in progress. We don't currently have a bug tracking the request, so yours is timely. For complete details see our wiki page spec at:

Once this work is done there will be quite a few configurable flags for subscriptions for projects and packages, which should mean this bug can be closed as fixed.

Note to malone devs, I didn't duplicate this against bug 213261, which is about level of notification, since this request would also include some of the search filter like features we're working on. So we can consider this a master bug for any/all config options to structural subscriptions.
