Since the last update it doesn't crash, then this bug can be closed.

I have two computers. One with a Turion 64 there is no problem, with the other one (AMD64 2000) I can't never start Amaya. It always crashes. So, this buag can't be closed. In both computers the system is update.

Same for me:

Amaya reports:
~$ amaya
11:47:12: Deleted stale lock file '/home/harry/.amaya-harry'.

(amaya:6150): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_set_colormap: assertion `!GTK_WIDGET_REALIZED (widget)' failed
The program 'amaya' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 7431 error_code 8 request_code 142 minor_code 5)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

System Info:
 Hardware:
  ASUS Aspire 5102WLMi (laptop)
  AMD Turion TL50 X2 64bit
  ATI Radeon Xpress 1100
 Software:
Ubuntu Feisty 64bit (fully up to date)

Same here - updated Feisty 386 version, installed Amaya, crash on start up every time.

Same behavior here - and wasn't always thus. I had amaya working perfectly 'til I tried to get dual monitors working...

I'm on a toshiba satellite a200 laptop with intel's mobile 965 chipset, and I've been trying to solve the problem by trying selecting video card drivers - but I can't get my video card drivers to work. Even when I select the right one in the "Screens and graphics" control panel (Hardy Heron), and click test, it doesn't work. None of the intel drivers produced a solid test.

I'm marking this as fixed, as it was closed (in Debian) and synced a while ago.
