Crash happens when system-
Note that I have simulated the case of a printer which is locally unsupported but supported by a downloadable driver package on OpenPrinting. To do so, I have run the following commands:
sudo dpkg -P --force-depends openprinting-ppds

The first command removes support for many PostScript printers by removing the package with the PPD files, the second makes system-
The crash only leads to an ugly Apport pop-up. The setup of the printer works correctly via a driver download from OpenPrinting by Jockey.
