Samsung CLP-315 printer doesn't print gimp images

Hello,

 My Samsung CLP-315 printer is recognized by ubuntu 10.10 and print with many programs, but fails printing gimp images (showing blank paper). The only possibility in that case is to use gutenprint driver but it is not the default way.

 If you allow me to metion it it fails also printing webpages browsed by Mozilla Firefox 4.0b5. I'm not sure but maybe it fails in firefox default package for maverick.

 I know hardware manufacturers not always develop good open drivers but I think in general the driver provided by ubuntu works well.

If it helps I paste you the error when I try to print with latest firefox:

Have you tried doing a print preview, or printing to a pdf?

Hello Andreas,

Printing preview does not show anything. Export it to a pdf file creates
a blank image. I only can print in gimp under gutenprint.
