mouse/touchpad pointer not visible

running 10.10 beta live on Asus A3n laptop
unable to see pointer, am navigating using the tab and ctrk keys with the mouse position ctrl set the concentric circles are visable
at least the screen is visable first seen since 8.10
can change background and was able to set the wifi connection great work.

Looks as if all the problems are solved running as live cd

I will make a new installation as a result of the tests
