Binary package hint: unity
The Open Office menu displays below the close, minimise, maximise buttons. A redundant 'file' and 'Edit' text menu item displays above this in the top bar.

Thanks for the bug report. the issue you are reporting is a known one but its not something that is targetted for Maverick as it involves alot of work. but its expected to be resolved for Ubuntu Natty. So in maverick openoffice will show its title in the unity panel and the menu bar below it. there wont be the dummy file edit for openoffice expectedly. see bug 632657
