Can't install several software in Maverick Meercat Beta

First of all I cannot install Skype-ubuntu-intrepid_2.1.0.81-1_i386.deb . Installing is interrupted by the information that Skype cannot be installed b.o a bad file descriptor.

Avasys Drivers for my V300 Epson Scanner can't be installed b.o there is an error.
Dependece isn't compliable. Libltdl3 (>=1.5.2-2)
I have tried to install drivers for Lucid (iscan_2.25.0-1_i386.deb) in Maverick-Beta.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Try to install Skype through the official partner channel.

Open Synaptic Package Manager (under the System->Administration menu). In Synaptic, select "Settings" and "Repositories".
Select the "other software" tab. Make sure "Canonical Partner" is enabled. Close the panel, refresh Synaptic and search for Skype.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Unfortunately, compatibility of older software in development releases is not supported. Please reopen this report if the current supported software will not install in the final release of Ubuntu 10.10.
