Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

I changed the default fonts and everything seemed to be working fine.

Then i created a "link to application" in the desktop and configured it to be run by the root user. What happens is that the launched application (in this case it was kate) doesn't use the configured fonts but the default ones instead.

Note that if i do:

"sudo kate"

from the command like kate is launched with the correct fonts.

So the difference is if i do "sudo" or "kdesudo".

With "sudo" the fonts are fine, with "kdesudo" the fonts revert to the original configuration.

summary: - Changes in fonts are not used when running a to an application for
- another user
+ Font customizations are not visible when using kdesudo
