After you set an avatar when editing User's Information, the user's avatar isn't shown at the login screen of Gnome

After upgrading to the latest updates, it seems to be fixed. Not sure which update though

Sometimes when the login screen is displayed, my avatar is missing. It's not every time, so I don't know how to reproduce the bug.
I'm on a fully updated amd64 system, with Ubuntu 10.10.

Same for me. Randomly , most on first boot, avatar does not appear. If i disconnect from my session and return to gdm, i can see my avatar correctly
