shutdown screen log line broken

Bug Description

Then resolution no big for console log it break lines. And it look as heap characters. I think good idea calculate string long - long for status info, and info script message carry in new line. This problem have been in 10.x ubuntu.

Tentatively moving to plymouth as it seems to be a case where multiple things fight for /dev/console and end up generating a slightly messy output on the screen.

Of course. Just checked on 12.10 final beta. You can do it by yourself in virtualbox. I'm sure that result will the same.
