"Fiscal Position" has no meaning in the context

It should be renamed to "Tax Mapping"

"Fiscal positions" could be used for reporting balance figures/aggregates to fiscal authorities.

Fiscal position depicts the financial position and so may be its less meaningful here, however it concerns with both tax mapping and account mapping, so renaming it to 'Tax Mapping' will hide account mapping concern.
We can though rename it to 'Fiscal Policy'.

@pap your proposal "Fiscal Policy" is something different and used worldwide. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiscal_policy
I think it is not wise to use the same term for something different.

The functionality of the current Fiscal Position is remapping accounts (tax and/or GL accounts) As far I can see it is used only at "Orders" and "Invoices" in combination with the partners situation where a Fiscal Position could be set as default.
I agree with Ferdinand that Fiscal Positions is used for reporting balance figures/aggregates to fiscal authorities.

My proposal is to rename "Fiscal Position" to "Fiscal Remapping" which exactly reflects what is does.

I like "Fiscal Mapping".

Anyway, as a reference, on a closed-source ERP I have used (and that is pretty common on Portugal), they call it "Market type" on the sales editor.
