A dist-upgrade is always a complex thing to debug, but the xemacs21 part of the problem seems to be due to a known ocaml bug. I will mark this bug as a duplicate of that. You should probably file a separate bug report if you are having problems with grub-pc.

Thanks for your bug report; the simple workaround is probably to uninstall ocaml-mode and reinstall xemacs21.
