Bug Description

Ubuntu Maverick Beta i386.

Jockey failed to install the b43 driver for Broadcom wireless card on laptop. Installed proprietary (STA?) driver successfully and restarted laptop. Wireless connected automatically (upgrade to Maverick Beta from Lucid) and works, but no icon appearing in panel. Running nm-applet does nothing. Moving gnome-panel to Left then back to Top to force a refresh does not solve the problem.
