rhythmbox doesn't open when is launched automatically by ubuntu on startup

If rhythmbox is opened by ubuntu on login I can see the icon near the clock applet, but when I click on it the menu doesn't open.

I have to kill it and open it again

Thank you for your bug report, how do you make rhythmbox to be run by ubuntu on login?

In my own experience, I set rhtymbox to run at login by copying the .desktop file for it to ~/.config/autostart, but this was a manual process, and then I can use system->startup applications to enable or disable it, and it does appear iconified in the notification area when enabled as expected, and works fully when selected. My question is hence the same as Sebastien's, what method was being used to make rhtymbox autostart at login?

My ubuntu is set up to remember the current application running at reboot.

So if I leave rhytmbox open next time I power on my pc is open.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Oneiric Ocelot.
