Bug Description
I installed 10.10 on my eeepc 4g (celeron 900, 512mb ram, intel 915 graphics). The unity interface is very laggy, scrolling the icons in the dock, takes ages. Mousing over the dock, it takes about 10 seconds for the tool tip to catch up, and the tool tips are often empty.
In contrast the performance of the 10.04 netbook launcher was fine on the same hardware.
So is this a valid bug? or is it expected behaviour on hardware of this age?
