Bug Description
Tried different options to get the wanted result: duplex printing without any luck.
Printer: Photosmart Premium C309g
OS: Ubuntu Linux (10.04)
HPLip version: 3.10.2
More info: duplex prints well in Windows 7
Printing Options:
HPLIP:
Print Settings: Basic - Duplex: "Two sided (long edge)"
General: Media size: "A3 AutoDuplex 210x297 mm"
Installable options: Duplexer installed: "yes" (it's greyed out)
On Linux Printing:
Installable options: Duplexer installed: "yes" (I can choose this checkbox)
General: Media size: "A3 AutoDuplex 210x297 mm"
Results:
1) Can never get duplex in Openoffice. If I print a 2 page document with the options shown in duplex-oo.png, I'll get two single pages printed
2) Trying to print a PDF (Evince), I get the same results. On one time I was able to print in duplex (no changes between tries), but what I usually get is a screen like duplex-pdf.png - the "two-sided" layout option is empty, and if one clicks on it the only option is "one sided".
