Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

I'm using an uptodate (2010-09-05 18:30 CEST) maverick on AMD64 and evince (2.31.90-0ubuntu1) doesn't start for me anymore:

$ evince

GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.Evince.Default' is not installed

aborting...
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)
$

For me, with an uptodate Maverick, as of 06.09.2010, 2:03 AM, evince is working as expected.

I have this bug. the following steps have not resolved the issue (suggested from the other evince 10.10 bug report):
sudo apt-get install --reinstall evince
sudo apt-get install --reinstall empathy
sudo apt-get install --reinstall glib
