Launched Thunderbird 3.1.3 and get an error each time

Binary package hint: thunderbird

I upgraded from Lucid to Maverick yesterday, and upgraded to Thunderbird 3.1.3 after doing some updates today, when I launch TB I get a pop up message saying

" Failed to contact configuration server; the most common cause is a missing or misconfigured D-Bus session bus daemon. See http://projects.gnome.org/gconf/ for information. (Details - 1: Server ping error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0)

I can still access my email, folders, send and receive

Thank you for your bug report. That's strange though, is this just a normal gnome session? I assume gconfd2 is actually running? (I'd be surprised if it's not). Does the error go away if you do "dbus-launch thunderbird"?

No error is displayed when you run dbus-launch thunderbird

yes gconfd2 is running also

I can confirm. I'm running Maverick and started seeing this once I upgraded to Thunderbird 3.1.6 today. dbus-launch thunderbird does not produce the error. gconfd2 is running.
