Bug Description
When installing onto a Dell ALienware machine with 2x Samsung SSDs and what I think is software RAID, the kernel recognises this device as
/dev/mapper/
It correctly allows you to create partitions on this array (e.g. /dev/mapper/
However, by default it installs the bootloader to /dev/sda rather than to the root of the array (/dev/mapper/
On initial boot, in tty1, there is the attached error displayed, I am not sure if this is relevant. Apologies for poor quality.
Does this still happen with the final release of 10.10 or 11.04?
