Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-themes-ubuntu
Since the Lucid release I had to fall back on the Karmic build of Dust, due to the unsightly changes that were made in the (I believe) version 5 which had been released. Thankfully, many changes have since been made in the official dust code: borders are no longer thick (the biggest and best change), among other smaller fixes. I was hoping to see these changes land in Maverick, but it seems that since the Dust changes have only been made in svn, they have not made it over to the gnome-themes-ubuntu package. I know that sometimes fixes can be merged without an official release having been made... is it possible this could happen for dust? I'm sure a lot of fans of the theme would like to see it restored to its previous glory.
There are two changes that still need to be made to the theme, which I will beupping on their launchpad page as bugs, but will also list here in case someone else would like to tackle them.
- The default icon set for dust should be changed from hunamity-dark to ubuntu-mono-dark, to take advantage of the hard work that has gone into that similar but newer set
- within a filetree view (firefox bookmark sidebar, or the side panel of gconf-editor), themes like Ambiance have small, elegant triangle-shaped buttons, where dust has very large triangle buttons. I believe this is configured within the metacity-
I can open separate bugs for the changes if needed, and as I mentioned, I'll be opening bugs for them both in the dust launchpad proper, in hopes that the devs may fix it on their end. Thanks for your time!

I use "dust" with the new ambiance controls, and purple colors, with, of course, the buttons on the right :). Hence I am simply interested in the outcome of this bug. If not for the ugly oversized borders in dust in lucid, it would be an ideal theme.
