Bug Description

PDF file is not rendered correctly. Some objects, which are of a partial opacity in Inkscape, are rendered fully opaque in PDF.

P.S., I have seen similar closed bugs on Launchpad, but this has been tested with the latest (0.48) release - and the bug is still there.

I'm not sure what this report is about: Incorrect export to PDF from Inkscape or incorrect PDF import?
Could you attach the original PDF file, if your issue is about incorrect import?

I have made 'save as...', and did not reimport PDF. So Inkscape simply has changed the window title, but it looks exactly as when it has just loaded SVG.

P.S. Just to clarify, the original is SVG, not PDF.

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.48+devel r9737 on OS X 10.5.8

Attaching reduced test case:
The paths that export incorrectly to PDF are without individual 'style' attributes inside a group which defines the style (opacity, fill gradient). In the exported PDF drawing the paths are rendered without gradient but only with a reduced opacity black (unset) fill.

Ungrouping and regrouping causes to store the style information with both the group members (paths) and the group itself (that's what Inkscape normally does, unless one manually edits the file in the XML Editor or outside of Inkscape). The paths now export to PDF as expected (each path has a gradient fill with reduced opacity).
