Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

In Ubuntu 10.04 and earlier, .deb archives are opened by default with the package-installation tool. It seems that Software Center has replaced this tool's functionality. However, when I try to open a .deb file, it opens it with the archive manage, instead of software center. I have to right-click > open with > Software Center to get it to work.

Software Center should associate itself with .deb files.
