Bug Description

I have a Samsung N220 netbook, and resently the kernel was updated to 2.6.32-24-generic, this new kernel is not booting and I get the following error message when I try to boot with it;

udevadm trigger is not permitted while udev is unconfigured
udevadm settle is not permitted while udev is unconfigured
udevadm settle is not permitted while udev is unconfigured
udevadm settle is not permitted while udev is unconfigured
ALERT! /dev/disk/by-uuid/<uuid> does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

and then it drops to a busybox shell, which I believe is still in the initrd. I've check and the 2.6.32-23-generic kernel. which boots fine can see the main hard disk with the same uuid that the 24 kernel is looking for.

Sorry, I fixed the problem by running "dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic" it is working now.

Changed in netbook-remix:
